Today’s Lunch: Hamburger OR BBQ pork sandwich, fries, carrots and fruit
Tuesday’s Breakfast: Biscuit and gravy, fruit, milk and juice
Tuesday’s Lunch: Nachos with beef OR Chicken quesadilla, refried beans, corn and fruit
Next week is National FFA Week!!
Each day there will be 5 FFA emblems hidden around the school. If you find the FFA emblem, bring it to Mrs. Piotrowski or Mrs. McKinnies in the Ag building to claim your prize! We will also be having dress up days. “Tuesday is Tie Day”. Wear your favorite tie to promote the vast careers in the Agriculture industry including Ag Lawyer, Ag loan officer, Sales, etc. There will be a tie tying contest at both lunch 5a and 5b! Ties are provided. The fastest tie-tyer will receive a prize. Join in the FFA Fun!
The Book Club meeting for today has been rescheduled to next Friday, February 24th, at normal time.
Announcement for all theatre students: In order to avoid a conflict with the regional basketball game, our practice tomorrow has been moved to 11:15. We are going through the whole play, and we need our entire cast present.
P7 is meeting today during 5B lunch in Mrs. Mckinnies' room in the AG building. Lunch is provided.
When you are ready to purchase a Sweetheart Dance ticket--you must have a signed permission slip to purchase your ticket. If you are purchasing a ticket for an out of town or out of school guest--you must have the approved out of town or out of school guest slip and a signed permission slip for the guest. Tickets will be sold before and after school through next Friday in Room 108. Tickets are $10.00. Permission slips are available in the office.
Today is the deadline to submit senior pictures! Email your photos to: dhspublications@duquoinschools.org. If no photos are submitted, the photo taken by Iconik Studio will be used.
Senior baby picture ads are available for purchase on www.balfour.com. After creating an account, students or parents submit their childhood photos and senior messages. If you need assistance, contact Mrs. Dunavan at rdunavan@duquoinschools.org.
