Freshman, if you ordered an 8th grade yearbook, they are available now in the office.

Seniors-If you are interested in majoring in an agriculture-related field please stop in the counseling office to pick up the scholarship application for the Tyler Smith Memorial Scholarship.

Fall sports picture day is today starting on Van Metre field at 2:30.  LifeTouch photo packets are available in the office.  Booster buttons will also be available.  Athletes, please be on time.

Anyone interested in running for Pep Club officer needs to stop by Mrs. Miller's or Ms. Baxter's room by 2 p.m. today.  

Any student interested in running for class officer should pick up a petition from the table in the cafeteria.  Petitions must be returned to the class advisors (Freshmen-Ms. Baxter, Sophomores-Mrs. Miller, Juniors-Mrs. Geiger, Seniors-Mrs. McPherson) by 2 p.m. today.

The Du Quoin State Fair still has job openings.  They are looking to hire up to 15 students to park cars throughout the 10 days of the fair and are willing to work around school, sports and other work schedules. Students must be at least 16 years of age to qualify. Applications can be picked up in the school office and in the agriculture building from Mr. Huntley or Mrs. Piotrowski.

Sophomores:  You guys are awesome.  Concession stand spots are FULL!  Thank you for volunteering!  

The following students need to come to the office:  Brayden McKinnies, Carli Bishop, Marcie Dunmyer, Nate Colvin, and Dena Rendleman.
There will be a meeting for those in the spring semester yearbook/ journalism class on Wednesday, Aug 28 in Mrs. Dunavan's room (Rm 210).  If you cannot make it, please let Mrs. Dunavan know.
