Tryouts for girls’ basketball will begin on Monday, November 4th. Girls who plan on trying out must have a physical and insurance form on file with the school. Also, if anyone plans to try out for basketball but hasn’t tried on shoes, they need to see Coach File as soon as possible.

Spanish Club will be baking “Bread of the Dead” this Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 noon in the commons. Sign-ups are in Senora’s room (room 209).
There will be NHS Induction Rehearsal for all new members today after school in the commons.

Art Club will be watching Hocus Pocus and painting pumpkins (you must bring your own) or working on art works Tuesday, November 5th after school. Pizza will be provided. There is a sign-up sheet in the art room, please sign-up if you plan on attending.
FCCLA members--New point chart is up on the Foods door. Please check you points to be sure they are correct. Also names highlighted have qualified for Sweetheart ballot/court. Check to see what you need to do to complete your qualifications. Also, I have checked on backordered items from RADA--they do not have a ship date as of now. I will keep checking back.
Student Council Members who signed up to go to Fall Workshop need to pick up a parent permission slip from Mrs. Robison.
Juniors and Seniors: A representative from Greenville University will be visiting Du Quoin High School on Tuesday, November 5th at 9:00am. Please sign the list in guidance if you would like to attend.
Friends of Rachel Club will have a meeting Wednesday, November 6 after school in the Library.
The cover proof of the 2020 Flashlight yearbook is on display in the Commons and on Twitter. Make sure to buy your yearbook before Thursday, Nov 7 for your chance to win 1 of 10 gift cards. Forms were included in your report card and on the stand outside the office.
