Today’s Lunch:  Hamburger, smiley fries, broccoli with cheese, and fruit

Monday’s Breakfast:  French toast sticks, sausage, fruit, juice, and milk

Monday’s Lunch:  Chicken patty, broccoli, carrots with dip, and fruit

Attention class of 2020: Senior shirts are in! You may pick up your senior shirt in Mrs. McPherson’s room BEFORE school (you cannot pick up your shirt during class).  Also, you must pick up your shirt IN PERSON.  No one is allowed to take another student’s shirt.  Thank you!  

Seniors, please come to the office by the end of the day on Thursday, December 12 to complete a form for the name that will be on your diploma.  The name must be your given full name since your diploma can be used as a legal document. 

Seniors-If any of you need help completing your FAFSA please stop in the guidance office to sign up for a time to get it completed.  Sign up soon-we only have a few time slots available.

Senior photos for the yearbook are due to Mrs. Dunavan on Friday, January 17.  Please email them to rdunavan@duquoinschools.org. So far only seven seniors have submitted photos.

The LAST day to order your 2020 Flashlight yearbook at the fall price is Friday, December 20.  The price will go up in January.  

Everyone get ready for next week's Holiday Spirit Week here at DHS!  Check out the flyers hanging around the school for the dress-up days.  We would like to add a little holiday cheer to the halls next week by doing this, but remember-- it IS the week before exams, so we are asking all those who participate to not be a distraction in classes and follow the school's dress code! Have fun and be merry! 

Seniors, if you have not picked up your signs that have been taken down from the polls downtown, please stop by the office to get them before the end of the day today.

All lost and found items will be donated during Christmas break.  Please go through items in the Commons as well as in the office.

For any student looking for community service hours, there is an opportunity for hours this Sunday wrapping presents for Shop with a Cop. See Ms. Mabrey if you are interested!

Exam exemptions for sophomores, juniors, and seniors are now available in the office.  These are due back in the office by Monday, December 16 at 3:30 p.m.

French club will sell green apple bonbons at tonight’s game.  When they are gone, they are gone for the school year.

There will be a brief NHS meeting to draw for Secret Santa on Monday @ 7:45 in Mr. Jones' room.

FCCLA--Reminder--The Cook-off is next week--Wednesday, December 11th!  Categories are: Appetizer, Salad, Bread, Side Dish, Main Dish, and Desserts.  You may start cooking after school and your food must be ready to serve at 6:00 PM (Plan for your food to be the correct temperature when served--hot food hot, etc.)  December meeting will start at 6:00. Members will decide Sweetheart theme and colors--so bring your ideas! Service projects of toys and hygiene items are due that day as well.  See you then!

Attention FBLA Members: There are three important items that you need to keep in mind for the coming week: 

1) Please be prepared to pick up your detergent orders after school on Monday, December 9, in Room 126 near the Commons.

2) Testing for Southern Area Conference will be held during ELT on Monday, December 9, Wednesday, December 11, and Friday, December 13. Don't forget to sign up for this.

3) The FBLA Christmas Party will be held on Tuesday, December 10, in the Commons at 6 p.m.
