Congratulations to our September Educators of the Month Alex Witcher and Dr. Michelle Mohr. Mrs. Alex Witcher is in her 2nd year and Dr. Mohr is in her 1st year in the District.

Mrs. Witcher and studentsMrs. Witcher is a special education teacher (pictured right) at Du Quoin Elementary School. Her nominators stated she has never wavered  in her love for teaching her students. She is an advocate for the greater good of her students. Alex is the true definition of a “Superior Special Education Teacher”. 

Dr. Mohr’s (pictured below) peer nominator stated students talk about the excitement that goes on in her classes. She has already developed great relationships with the students and staff! She brings such a positive light to the district. We are so very lucky to have her!
