Congratulations to the Indianettes! They are Division A Kick State Champions and placed 3rd place in the Hip Hop category at IDTA state finals this weekend as well! It is the first state championship in the kick category for the Indianettes!
P7 meeting this Friday, February 17 in Mrs. Mckinnies' room in the ag building during 5B lunch. Pasta will be provided, but make sure to bring a friend with you!
Any Junior or Senior who would like to be a part of the Mr. DHS contest needs to fill out and turn in the questionnaire by tomorrow. We will not accept questionnaires after tomorrow. Thank you from the Pep Club.
Sweetheart 2023--"Enchanted"--The FCCLA Sweetheart Dance will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Coronation will take place in the auditorium at 6:00 PM and the dance will begin at 7:00 PM at the American Legion. Tickets go on sale Thursday in the Family & Consumer Science Room--Room 108 and can be purchased before and after school. Tickets are $10.00. Make plans to attend this semi-formal event. If you have any questions--See Mrs. Stacey or any FCCLA member.

The deadline for senior pictures is this Friday! Email up to 4 photos, one of which must be vertical. These photos are used for the yearbook, senior video, and shared with the local newspaper. Email your photos to: dhspublications@duquoinschools.org. If no photos are submitted, the photo taken by Iconik Studio will be used.
Senior baby picture ads are available for purchase on www.balfour.com. After creating an account, students or parents submit their childhood photos and senior messages. If you need assistance, contact Mrs. Dunavan at rdunavan@duquoinschools.org.
Junior and Senior Girls: You are invited to a new event called Girls Tip. Topics for the Girls Tip events will explore body image challenges, "I have to get all A's", complexities of female relationships, and opportunities to learn from female leaders in our community. It's all about unlocking leadership potential! Come join Mrs. Rea Thursday in the library computer lab during your lunch hour (bring your lunch to eat while we meet) and learn more about the Girls Tip events.
