District 300 parents/guardians/students: A friendly reminder that our Grab & Go Meals will be available on Monday/Wed./Fri. starting this week. If you pick up today, you will receive 2 breakfasts/2 lunches. Thank you and stay safe everyone!

Good afternoon District 300 faculty/staff. The Governor has officially extended the school closure through the end of our school year. We will continue our remote learning plans through that date. I’ll share more information on Monday. Please stay safe. -- Matthew Hickam, Supt.

#OneBookConnects program ready for distribution at Du Quoin Elementary!


UPDATE: Starting on Monday, April 20th, our Grab & Go Meals will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Bagged meals on Mondays/Wednesdays will include 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches. Again, these changes will go into effect on Monday, April 20th. Stay safe everyone!

The 2020-2021 kindergarten screening, originally planned for Thurs., Apr. 23, has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. Those with appointments, along with the public will be notified as soon as a new date is available. We look forward to greeting you and our newest Papoose students to our school and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Good afternoon District 300 parents, guardians, and students. The Governor has officially extended the stay-at-home order and school closure through April 30. We will continue our existing plans through that date. I’ll share more as needed soon. Matthew Hickam, Supt.

Grab & Go Meals continue at our 4 locations today from 10-12. Over 1,200 meals served yesterday thanks to our awesome staff! New instructional materials can also be picked up at DES/DMS/DHS locations today! #ILSchoolsStepUp


District 300 parents, guardians, and students: A reminder that our next wave of instructional materials is going out tomorrow. If you have not already received specific information from teachers/principals, be on the look out for a message. Thanks for your patience and support!

District 300 Parents/guardians, students, staff: Per the Governor's announcement today, our school closure has been extended through April 7. We will be in touch again early next week with more info. Our food program WILL continue as scheduled. Everyone be safe this weekend!

In first 4 days of Grab & Go food for students, we have distributed over 2,000 breakfasts/lunches! We have a great kitchen staff & now help coming from faculty/staff too. For this weekend, local churches have provided food for students to take home as well. 🙏#ILSchoolsStepUp
